ECO-FRIENDLY CELEBRATION IN A MILK SHED

Blaire & Andrew’s wedding was by far one of my favorites to date. A beautiful ceremony which has been featured on The Pretty Blog, what an honour!
It was a day full of raw emotions, true commitment to one another and their families. Set in an old milk shed which belonged to Blaire’s grandfather, the place was perfect for such celebration of love! These two are truly non conventional and planned their day according to their wishes and not what society expects from them. From the decision not to have an engagement to also get rid of the idea of a bridal party. This day was a reflection of who they were and a celebration of them two. They stayed authentic to who they are and kept everything as simple as possible. They did a lot of DIY decor, sourced local flowers and furniture. They also opted for hay stacks and tree stumps as the seats for the ceremony! It looked so gorgeous. Blaire and Andrew decided to use only organic and environmentally friendly  materials like bamboo cutlery. No speeches were made during reception, instead there were a few people who spoke during the ceremony, which made it a lot more special! The reception was a great party with lots of delicious and locally made food, my favourite was street tacos! Can’t make this Mexican happier while working than to take a break to eat some tacos. Thank you so much Blaire and Andrew for choosing me to document your special day. You two are truly a special couple with genuine love for each other. It was an honoured being part of this love celebration.
